12.5 mile skate's theme is "ban book bans", because next week is Banned Books Week 2025.

Biggest Protests Road Rave

Skate to where some of Chicago’s biggest protests have happened. This skate will take us to Union Park and McCormick Place.

Sunday Skate Session

Freestyle Slalom, skill practice, and meeting new people! Beginners are welcome. There will always be someone to help and give pointers. The spot at Belmont Harbor is nice because it is away from the crowds with smooth pavement to put up cones and practice skating. If there is interest, we will end the session with an easy skate along the lakefront path.
