This beginner-friendly 8-mile group skate follows the Metropolitan Branch Trail from NoMa–Gallaudet U Station to Ft. Totten Metro and back, with multiple tap-out points along the route for shorter distances. Skaters can practice skills and drills at regrouping spots, and at least one leader will skate at each participant's pace. The event concludes with pizza at Andy's, where a free slice is offered with the purchase of a drink.
