This event starts with 30 minutes of skill drills followed by a casual 2-mile skate along Pennsylvania Avenue from Woodrow Wilson Plaza to 3rd Street and back, suitable for those comfortable skating in controlled environments who want to build stamina and prepare for more advanced city routes. Participants can use inline skates, roller skates, bicycles, unicycles, skateboards, or longboards, and must wear helmets and protective pads.
