This event honors Tom Grosspietsch with a 13-mile skate to nine locations connected to his life, starting and ending at Daley Plaza. Skaters should be able to brake, skate comfortably at 8-12 mph, and navigate street obstacles like cracks and train tracks. Participants are encouraged to wear helmets, pads, and LED lights for visibility, bring water and snacks, and follow safety rules including staying in one lane and respecting traffic signals.
