ABOUT THIS EVENT
This intermediate to advanced skating event covers about 30 miles around Jamaica Bay, starting at Sheepshead Bay subway station and including scenic water views and sea breeze. Skaters can choose to stop for food in Rockaways or wait until returning to Sheepshead Bay, and cyclists are also welcome. Helmets and wrist guards are strongly recommended, and participants have the option to take the subway back from Bay 91 Street or skate the full route.
