Skate to Coney Island capped off with a bon fire on the beach.
We'll skate through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx. Due to there not being a direct way to access Staten Island without a vehicle from NYC we will also pass through NJ in order to enter Staten island. The skate will end at the Staten island ferry terminal to take the ferry back to south street with plenty of transportation options around.
Think Ice Ball, but at the pier, in rollerblades
Skate to the annual Forest Hills Fair on Austin Street. Skating through some of Peter Parker's favorite hangout spots, ending at his home address in Forest Hills. Finish at the Forest Hills street fair for food, drinks, snacks.
Meeting at 10:30am on the corner of Church Ave and McDonald Ave in Brooklyn. We'll follow the G line to where it ends in Queens. From there we'll head to Flushing to trace the 7 line back to the city, completing the skate at Hudson Yards/pier 76
10th annual magical night as we repeat Emilie’s skate from 2016 to the Dyker Heights Christmas lights in Brooklyn.
Special skate around Manhattan, while stopping to see some great attractions. Highlights will include the Department Store Windows at Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue(amazing lightshow), and Macy's, the Tree at Rockefeller Center, the Big Red Balls, a few surprises (including an unknown tree and a cool tree lit street), Gracie Mansion, and Washington Square Park.
Skating south into Manhattan, and then over the brooklyn bridge into brooklyn. Once we complete the 2 line we may head back over to the botanical gardens to complete the 3 train routes brooklyn portion out to new lots ave.
Skate south along the 1 train route about 14 miles to Wall Street. From there skate the W line from Whitehall street to Ditmars Blvd in Queens.
WWNS is a more advanced skate. Routes may end after 10pm and go for longer distances at faster paced and group size will generally be smaller particularly as the weather gets colder.
